Discernment devotion discusses the battle of separating lies from truth. Children, as well as adults, often have trouble judging between doing what’s right and what’s fun. Satan, as the tempter, is always whispering in our ears. As the deceiver, he always lies. Discernment is learning to choose what’s right, and dodge the lies.

Read Proverbs 14:6, 15:14, Isaiah 45:19, Jeremiah 17:9, John 8:32.

Proverbs is the book following Psalms, in the center of the Bible. Isaiah is the 3^rd book after Proverbs, with Jeremiah immediately following. John is the 4^th book in the New Testament.
